Cinny Wikoff - Owner, Riding Instructor

Cinny has been the owner and operator of Tin Corner Farm since 1999. She is a member of the CHA (Certified Horsemanship Association) - an association focused on promoting excellence in equine safety and education.

Cinny has been riding since the 6th Grade and owned her first horse in high school. She has extensive experience in the equine industry including working at a Hunter/Jumper barn in Connecticut and a Reining Horse farm in Concord, NH.

Cinny teaches beginning riders with an emphasis on safety while having fun learning the basic skills of horsemanship.

Lessons with Cinny are priced as follows:

½ hour private lesson - $25
1 hour group lesson - $25
1 hour private lesson - $35

Sandra Thomas - Riding Instructor, Trainer

Sandra Thomas has been riding for over 28 years and graduated from Lake Erie College with a B.S. in Equine Studies: Equestrian Teacher/Trainer and Facility Management. Sandra has competed in dressage shows up to First Level, United States Eventing Association recognized Combined Tests up to Training Level, Hunter/Jumper Shows, Hunter Paces and Hunter Trials. She has been a Foxhunt Club member since 1984 and a staff member as a "Whipper-In" since 1994.

Sandra's industry background includes the management of full care boarding facilities and a steeplechase barn and assisting with breeding and foaling. Her extensive and varied experience with the schooling of horses includes training to Second Level Dressage and above, training of “green” horses for competition, creation of Field Hunters for hunting and the education of young horses from the ground up.

Sandra's most obvious strength in the equine field is her teaching ability. She instructs students of all ages and all levels of experience. The emphasis of her lesson program is on balance seat for both English and Western riding. Safety is an important component of her program as well as ensuring that both the rider and the horse are enjoying themselves. She is both fair and forgiving in her teaching style and knows how to bring out the best in each student to advance to the next level. Sandra also has experience with therapeutic riding, providing instruction for individuals with various physical and/or mental disabilities.

Sandra has been training & instructing here at Tin Corner Farm since 2001.
